Palestine – Gaza’s Christians celebrate holidays despite Israeli blockade

This year’s Christian festivals in the Gaza Strip are limited to religious rituals only, as the Israeli blockade of Gaza deprives hundreds of Christians of celebrating in Jerusalem, praying in the Church of the Holy Sepulchre and the Church of the Nativity in Bethlehem and performing religious rituals there. Christians in Gaza, who are still waiting for a solution to be able to obtain permits to celebrate with their relatives living outside the Gaza Strip, are under siege, in these circumstances of the Gaza Strip, Christians say that the siege will not deter them from celebrating Christmas.
