Observers have warned about the danger sought by the Iranian regime for its threats to kidnap and assassinate journalists working for an opposition channel, calling for international intervention to prevent this from happening. Palestinian political analysts said that these threats underscore the scale of repression against Iranians not only at their homeland but also in countries of exile and refugees, considering them irrefutable evidence that human rights groups can sue Iran based on internationally.The Sunday Times newspaper revealed in a report last Sunday that Iran is waging a campaign of intimidation against journalists of the London-based opposition Television Channel Iran International, threatening to kidnap them from the streets of the UK if they do not leave their jobs in the channel focused on Iranian affairs and has a prominent role in covering the recent demonstrations.
