Tunisia – Differing views on the aftermath of Al-Baghdadi’s assassination

Opinions differed on the implications of the assassination of ISIS leader Abu Bakr Al-Baghdadi, in an air strike launched last night by a US special team on his place in Idlib province in northern Syria, some analysts went on to say that the killing of Al-Baghdadi amounts to the end of the presence of ISIS and a prelude to the emergence of new organizations justifying the presence of the US in the hotbeds of tension in the Arab world, while some have said that the assassination of Al-Baghdadi will negatively affect his followers and soldiers on the ground and may be a way to thwart their combat.
