The Syrian opposition forces and the Turkish army have repositioned themselves in the countryside of Ras al-Ain city in Hasaka governorate in northeastern Syria, in order to repel attempts by the Syrian regime forces to control a number of villages within the borders of the safe area recently taken over by Syrian opposition forces and the Turkish army after battling Kurdish forces, amid sporadic clashes between the two sides.
