Jordan- Analysts: Al-Baghdadi’s assassination does not mean the end of ISIS

Analysts pointed out that the assassination of ISIS leader Abu Bakr Al-Baghdadi, by a U.S. special team in Idlib province in northern Syria, is a severe and unexpected thunderbolt to the group, but it does not mean that ISIS had ended because of its transformation into a decentralized organization after the fall of its last areas of spatial control in the town of Al-Baguz in Deir Ezzor province in eastern Syria in March, they noted the possibility that ISIS would carry out a wave of terrorist attacks in a number of countries to convey the message that Al-Baghdadi’s death did not mean the end of the group.
