United States – Differing views after Trump’s decision to withdraw from northern Syria

Analysts supported the United States President Donald Trump’s decision to withdraw U.S. forces from areas controlled by the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) in northern Syria, noting that the Congress will work to stop the implementation of the resolution, which Trump is determined to implement in all cases, while others confirmed that Washington has not complied with its agreement with the SDF, which includes their withdrawal from the northern Syrian regions after the final elimination of ISIS and the building of stability on the basis of undermining Iran’s influence in the region, which has not yet been achieved according to them.
