Somalia- Political Analysts: Reintegrating dissidents into the society depends on their credibility

The political analyst and security expert, Mohammed Abdullah stressed on the possibility of splitting dissidents from Al-Shabaab movement according to their age groups, to determine the mechanism of reintegrating them into society. He also highlighted the necessity of verifying their credibility and not rushing them to join the security sector. It is noteworthy that the number of dissidents from Al-Shabaab movement in Somalia is increasing in recent times as a result of the conflict within the ranks of the movement and the targeting of its sites by government forces backed by African forces.
