Mogadishu – Somalia 19.09.2020
Underage marriage is still common in the developing regions of the world, especially in some parts of Africa, South Asia and others. Somalia is one of the countries in which minors still suffer from the consequences of child marriage, which changed the role of young girls from playing with their dolls and having childhood dreams to a house, husband and maybe a child demanding her for her motherhood while she still needs her mother and more. Aisha Farah, a Somali victim of underage marriages talks about her bitter experience of her 13th and how her family forced her to get married. Aisha is still living those harsh memories that haunt her in a world full of Injustice as she said.
