Somalia – Al Shabab movement’s fighters continue to dissent due to unpaid salaries

In Somalia, the series of the flow of dozens of Al Shabaab dissidents who then join the ranks of the government is still continuing, as a result of the unpaid salaries of fighters lately, some analysts have questioned the seriousness of these dissidents working in the government service considering that they did not provide the government with secret intelligence and military information about Al Shabab movement until now, referring to the possibility of them being double agents, while others saw that most dissidents of the movement are seeking a government position and to improve their living conditions only, without addressing the security problems.
