Syria – Flooded villages and agricultural land in Al-Hasakah

Rain water and run-off flooded the dozens of houses and thousands of agricultural hectares, destroyed bridges and roads in the villages of Tell Hamis in Al-Hasakah countryside northeast Syria. The floods are a result of the tropical depression that hit the region in recent days, which damaged this year’s crop. The citizens in the region called for international organizations to promptly intervene and provide aid to citizens whose properties were damaged.
