Palestine – Prosthetics Center continues to treat amputees

Gaza’s Prosthetics Center continues to treat amputees who lost their limbs during the return marches, which were targeted by the Israeli forces, but thanks to the center, many lives have improved. The center, which recently underwent a rehabilitation campaign, aims to offer its services to those who have lower and upper artificial limbs, where they measure the sizes of the amputated part and pick the right artificial limb accordingly, after undergoing the manufacturing and installation process, which is then followed by training the amputee on how to use it. The center also offers its services to paralyzed and deformed people by providing them with supporting and orthodontic devices. The Return Marches has resulted in around 170 amputees, 60 of them are currently being treated at the center.
