US – Syrian community meets with US Congress members to discuss violations against Syrians
Washington – United States 15/03/2019
Members of the Syrian community met with US Congress members at the Capitol Building in Washington, DC, to discuss the file of the Syrian prisoners who are forcibly held in the Syrian regime’s prisons. The session reviewed the Caesar file which contains photographs that document and show the brutality, violations, and torture that are practiced against those detained inside the Assad regime’s secret prisons. The participating US Congress members stressed the need to enact laws that condemn these brutal acts and put an end to them by criminalizing the Syrian regime and prosecuting Assad for war crimes.
