Tunisia – Parliament holds a session for the dead newborns case

The Tunisian Parliament held an exceptional plenary session today that is dedicated for addressing the tragic deaths of several newborn babies at a pediatric section in the capital Tunis. Several members of the Parliament blamed this incident on the state for failing to secure the necessary supplies and failing to provide adequate proficient cadres in government hospitals. They also demanded a disclosure for the whole truth behind this incident. It is worth mentioning that an invitation was sent to the Prime Minister Youssef Chahed to attend a hearing that is scheduled to be held next Thursday.
