Libya – Multiplication and disunity of armed factions are behind the rampant crime in Tripoli

The tourist Bashir Abu Al-Qasim, colonel in the Libyan army attributed the rampant crime in Libya and Tripoli in particular to the multiplication and disunity of armed factions affiliated with the Ministry of Interior and Ministry of Defense. He indicated that all the bombings and killings of 2018 were a result of the weakness in intelligence and security service. Abu Al-Qassim stressed the need to take action and work on stabilizing the country, as well as end all manifestations of organized crime by cooperating and intensifying the efforts of all factions and security services in order to eliminate all manifestations of crime, provide security and protect the citizens.
