Iraq – First visual arts exhibition opens in the Mosul Museum
Mosul-Nineveh-Baghdad 31/01/2019
The first visual arts exhibition was opened at Mosul’s Cultural Museum, which was rehabilitated following the destruction left by ISIS. The exhibition was attended by Arab and foreign visual artists who believe that this exhibition carries a new beginning for arts and cultural activities, and it contributes to rebuilding the city and bringing life back to it. The exhibition embraced more than seventy-five pieces of art, including portraits, sculptures and ceramics that embody the artists’ vision and the horrors that Mosul went through over the past few years.
