Tunisia – Trade and cultural cooperation discussion between Lavrov and Jhinaoui

Tunisian Foreign Minister Khemaies Jhinaoui said that he discussed with his Russian counterpart Sergey Lavrov the topic of Tunisia joining the Security Council, mentioning that there are many aspects to be discussed with Russia in this regard. By joining, Tunisia would be the voice of the continent of Africa and the Arab world. In addition to that, Lavrov confirmed that there are many aspects for bilateral cooperation in relation to trade, culture and tourism. This was during a press conference held by both parties in capital Tunis at the end of Lavrov’s visit to the countries of North Africa.
