Iraq – Ordination of the first Archbishop in Mosul since being liberated from ISIS

Mosul witnessed the ordination of the first Archbishop since being liberated from ISIS, which was considered by attendees including Bishops from the Chaldean Catholic Church, some Christians and other constituents of the city to be the beginning of a new era for Mosul, as well as motivation for the return of Christians to their city. The individuals who participated in the event expressed their joy in holding the ordination ceremony for the new Archbishop of Mosul. They also expressed their hope for this to be an incentive to improve the city and for all constituents to participate in rebuilding and reconstructing it.
