Yemen – Yemeni forces and coalition continue to demine Hudaydah

The team of experts from the Yemeni government forces and the coalition forces continue to clear Hudaydah’s Kilo-Sixteen area in western Yemen from hundreds of explosive mines planted by the Houthis. In 2018, local statistics reported that the Houthi mines left more than 139 civilians dead and injured hundreds of them, mostly women and children in Tihamah’s countryside and in Ad Durayhimi District in Hudaydah, and they continue to kill more civilians.
