Libya – Violent clashes between armed factions in Tripoli (exclusive shots)

The western suburbs of Libya’s capital Tripoli, particularly the Birtouta region in Wadi Rabi’, witnessed violent clashes between the Tripoli Protection Force affiliated with the foreign ministry of National Consensus Government and the Tarhuna Seventh Brigade. The clashes resulted in a number of deaths and injuries from both sides.  The Tripoli Protection Force announced in a statement repelling an attack made by Tarhuna Seventh Brigade against the capital.
