Libya – The Government of National Accord expands its relations with Russia through wheat

The Government of National Accord is seeking to get an annual supply of 1 million tons of wheat from Russia, though deals valued at more than $700 million over the coming years. These deals come at a time when the government of national accord and Russia are expanding their relations in several economic areas, starting with investing in the oil sector, to printing local currency in Moscow, and purchasing large quantities of wheat and fodder, which was agreed on recently during the Minister of Economy and Industry, Nasser Al-Derasi’s visit to Russia.
