Libya – Power and water cuts in Tripoli amid the armed battles

The Libyan capital, Tripoli, is witnessing a complete power outage after electricity transformers were damaged and the national company failed to repair them due to battles between a number of armed battalions in the city of Tripoli. And the residents of the city stated that the power outage led to water outages from the majority of homes, creating a situation of overcrowding on the gas stations to fill generators, as well as the closure of shops because of the lack of electricity and water.
