The crisis of medicine shortages has become the talk of the Tunisian street because of its negative effects on health security in the country, where large number of medicines can’t be found in private pharmacies, especially the important ones, such as heart and diabetes medicines, which aggravated the suffering of patients. Observers believe that the economic crisis suffered in Tunisia is the main cause of the central pharmacy’s inability to supply medicines from international laboratories. The Tunisian government is expected to take the necessary measures to overcome this difficult situation.
