Iraq – Opening the largest theater in Iraq

The city of Sulaymaniyah witnessed the opening of the Roman Theater which is one of the largest theaters in Kurdistan and Iraq. It was designed in a similar way to the Coliseum amphitheater in Italy after the Government of the Territory completed the construction process with international artistic specifications at Hawari Char Park in Sulaymaniyah city to serve as a cultural platform to hold cultural and artistic festivals, despite the financial crisis that hampered the implementation of the project. The opening included art performances and Kurdish dances amid the presence of officials in the Government of the Territory and a large number of citizens and lovers of arts and culture.
