Iraq – Security forces foiled an attack by gunmen on Erbil governorate building.

The security forces in the Kurdistan region were able to thwart an armed attack on Monday morning that was launched by three gunmen on Erbil governorate building after they opened fire on a guard point, killing one employee and wounding a police member. The security forces arrived to the building and were able to kill the three gunmen and inspect the building and controlling it after clashes with the militants.
