Palestine – The “Freedom Ship” sails from Gaza to break the Israeli siege

In an attempt to break the Israeli blockade imposed on the Gaza Strip since 2006, the “Freedom Ship” sailed from the port of Gaza to the ports of Cyprus on Tuesday morning, where the ship sailed for more than 9 nautical miles before being surrounded by Israeli naval vessels to prevent it from completing its journey. The ship of freedom aims to deliver the voice of the people of the Gaza Strip and communicate their suffering due to the Israeli blockade to the outside world. A large group of Gazans are on board of the ship, some of them are critically injured and in need of treatment abroad, in addition to some students and graduates who wish to work and complete their studies outside Gaza but Israel is preventing them.
