Syria – Engineering teams continue to dismantle mines and remove remnants of war in Raqqa

Raqqa – Syria 11/4/2018

The engineering teams of the Syrian Democratic Forces continue to work to remove and dismantle the mines and remnants of war left behind by ISIS organization before fleeing the region and the process is close to completion after a large number of mines were removed in a number of neighborhoods and areas inside Raqqa city. Citizens expressed their appreciation for the mines removal efforts and they demanded concerned authorities to continue removing all mines from all neighborhoods of the city so that all displaced persons can return to their homes safely.
