Yemen – Houthis forced recruitment of children is a clear violation of children’s rights

It seems that the recruitment of children to fight in battlefields, although they do not know how to use weapons, is a blatant violation of the children’s rights and one of the war crimes committed by the Houthis in light of their recent losses. The child, Abdul Hamid, is a vivid example of the Houthis child recruitment. After the liberation of many regions in Ma’rib, the child was suffering from psychological disorders from the killing and destruction which he witnessed that needed psychological rehabilitation to enable him to return to school to complete his education and live a normal life.
