Bahrain – Launching the “Museums in the Arabian Peninsula” Conference

The Museums in the Arabian Peninsula Conference was launched on Wednesday morning in the presence of Sheikha Mai bint Mohammed Al Khalifa and more than 70 museum and academic experts from the GCC countries and other Arab and foreign countries, aiming at provide a platform for dialogue among various museum and academic experts to discuss key emerging issues in museums, focusing on representation, identity and practice issues, as well as holding discussion sessions on how to develop museums in the Gulf cities and reviewing the challenges and opportunities facing the national museums in the region.
