Syria – Service projects discussed by the Reconstruction Council of Raqqa

Hundreds of Iranians and a group of Syrian activists demonstrated in front of the United Nations headquarters in New York City to coincide with the UN General Assembly session to denounce the Iranian regime and the presence of Iranian President Hassan Rouhani to deliver a speech at the UN. The demonstrators also called for a halt to the death penalty in Iran and a halt to immunity for the leaders of Tehran and the perpetrators of the 1988 massacre of political prisoners.
