Turkey – Turkish Prime Minister honors a number of journalists on the anniversary of the death of journalist Kambaz.

A memorial ceremony was held in the Turkish capital Ankara in the presence of Turkish Prime Minister Ben Ali Yildirim, where he made a welcoming speech in which he spoke about the history of the local press as well as the freedom of media and journalists. He also praised the role of the foreign press and thanked them for their contribution to Turkey in the night of the failed coup. The ceremony included honoring a number of journalists commemorating the death of Kamaz.
