Palestine – Colorful “Qatayef” in Gaza markets during Ramadan

The markets of the Gaza Strip are packed with sweets vendors, especially Qatayef, which is made up of flour and wheat. It is considered a seasonal dessert that widely spread during the month of Ramadan, and because of the competition between Qatayef sellers to attract customers, they developed new colors and flavors such as chocolate, Mango and Strawberry which became highly popular and desired among citizens.
