The annual celebration of the Jewish pilgrimage began at the Temple of Gharibah, the second oldest Jewish temple in Djerba, south-east of Tunisia. The ceremony continues for three days and concludes with the so-called grand exit, which symbolizes the migration of Jews from Egypt to the Promised Land.
