The residents of Tamanhant village in the southern city of Sabha issued a statement calling on the southerners to unite and stand against the civil war in the country. The statement also condemned the bombing of civilians and the destruction of houses and mosques, as well as the bombing of the Tamanhant International Airport, the lifeline of the population of the south
