Tunisia – Students march in conjunction with the general strike of Tunisian universities

On Friday, all university educational institutions in Tunisia staged a general strike at the invitation of the National Union of Tunisian Students, denouncing the violent handling of the security forces with students who demonstrated peacefully in front of the Government Palace in Kasbah on Monday. Thousands of students staged a march today carrying slogans denouncing the violence against students. The march witnessed clashes between students and security forces, wounding a number of students.
