Storyline:

As is customary every year, citizens of Gaza performed Eid al-Adha prayer in Al-Saraya Square in the center of Gaza. Performing Eid prayer in open space is a popular religious ritual. After performing prayer, citizens wished each other well and a happy Eid, then went on to visit family and friends.

Citizens collectively expressed how this year’s Eid came amid difficult living conditions in Gaza, that is suffering under blockade, exacerbated regional and global changes and crises, which in turn have led to huge rise in prices.

Citizens hope that by Eid next year, living conditions would be better, crossings would be open, and the blockade imposed on Gaza for fourteen years would be lifted.
