In a bowl of water mixed with thickening substances, and with a delicate brush, the Tunisian artist, Zahra Zerrougui, sprays brightly colored shapes to create unique pieces of art using ancient techniques of marbling. It is the ancient art that appeared in China passing by the Silk Road then reached the Ottoman Empire, where it was associated with Arabic calligraphy and Islamic oriental arts before disappearing for some time and returning with the modern state. Zahra studied this unique art outside Tunisia and returned to practice it, where she creates distinctive works inspired by her ideas from ancient Arab cities.
