Tunisia – Young Man Refurbish and Decorates Used Shoes

21

After graduating from the Design Institute, the young Tunisian Sherif Al-Zarwi chose to recycle and refurbish used shoes and bags, by repairing, decorating and re-dyeing them. Sharif launched his project because he was convinced that reducing the manufacture of new shoes and reviving old shoes would help reduce environmental pollution and support the purchasing power of the Tunisian citizen. With time, Sharif was able to develop his project from a small workshop at home in which he works alone, to two shops where many Tunisian youth work, which provided more job opportunities. Sharif always aspires to expand his work and develop his ideas, relying on his friends.
