Palestine- Palestinians welcome the Security Council decision

Palestinians received the Security Council decision with anticipation and the decision calls on Israel to halt settlement activity in the West Bank and East Jerusalem. This is the first decision issued by the Council regarding the conflict between Israelis and Palestinians in eight years.
