Tunisia – Reactions on Electronic Referendum in Tunisia

Variable reactions elicited after Tunisian President Kais Saied’s decision to conduct an electronic referendum. Some considered that the president is meant to conduct a survey that reflects the young people opinions, since he realizes that the referendum has its particular legally and constitutional regulations and conditions, while some find it important to see the opinion of Tunisian youth during the next stage, while another group finds that conducting a referendum does not necessarily mean canceling the actual and realistic dialogue with national parties and organizations.
