Syria – Panel Discussion about Water Reality in NE, Syria

Attended by a number of international figures, researchers, water specialists and representatives of international and local organizations, Local Administration and Environment Authority in the Autonomous Administration held the International Forum about Water in northern and eastern Syria under (sustainable water, sustainable life). The forum aims to discuss the water problem and the water reality in north and east of Syria, the forum was focused on international policies and agreements with regard to regional water, including rivers and groundwater, scientific aspect was there offering solutions for the water problems, especially drinking water, irrigation and agriculture problems in future and related electrical energy, and the extent of the impact of water shortages on the spread of epidemics and diseases and population migration.
