Palestine – “Athletics” forum for people with disabilities to inaugurate in Gaza

Under the auspices of the International Committee of the Red Cross, the Palestinian Paralympic Committee in Gaza inaugurated the Athletics Forum for People with Disabilities, and the tests and standards for selecting the Palestinian team, to train young people with special needs, to qualify them to participate in the world and international Olympic games. Around 100 players with congenital abnormalities and injuries as a result of the war on the Strip, practice games such as shot put and discus throwing, on the other side they encounter challenges, like the lack of capabilities of the Paralympic Committee in Palestine, as well as the lack of places designated sports training facilities
