The Peel Organization, in the north and east of Syria, has held activities in many cities entitled Naseej. The event included dialogue sessions between the various components of the region, aiming to strengthen social cohesion and civil peace among the different Syrian categories. After the Naseej initiative, a cultural festival was held, attended by representatives of all components in the region, such as Arabs, Kurds, Syriacs, Armenians, and Yazidis, it included theatrical performances that simulated the state of war that the country experienced and suffered, in addition to dances and folkloric dancers in the costumes of the people. Civil society activists believe that the region may not witness any real impact of such activities at present, but it will have the greatest impact in the future.
