Christians started preparing for the Christmas in Palestine and the Christmas bazaar opened in Ramallah with children events and Christmas music and the preparations will continue until the 24th of December.
Christmas is the second most important Christian celebration beside Easter and it is the Birthday of the Christ where people celebrate with fasting and prayers starting from the eve of December 24th until the end of the 25th of December In the Gregorian and Julian calendars, however, there is a 13 days difference for the churches that follow the Julian calendar, and therefore the celebrate on the eve of January 6 and January 7.
