Tunisia – Tunisian national organizations urge for the rapid outlining of the next stage plan
Representatives of national organizations in Tunisia voiced their support for President Kais Saied’s decision to speed up the identification of a road map for the next stage, emphasizing that while the next stage is rough and sensitive by all standards, it holds many hopes following the country’s involvement in a new reform context. The representatives called for the preservation of democracy and public freedoms, such as freedom of the press and freedom of expression, and human rights. The Union of Labor, the largest organization in Tunisia, has begun preparing a road map for the next phase, which it will present to the President in the coming hours.
