Palestine – Displaced Palestinians hold a vigil demanding IDs and passports to travel

26

Displaced Palestinian organized a vigil in front of the UNESCO building, demanding the issuance of Palestinian passports, following the arrival of the Palestinian Authority to the Gaza Strip in 1994, when a large number of displaced people from all countries returned to their homeland. The international agreements state that these people did not have any national number, so they do not have an identity card or a passport to travel outside Palestine and Gaza, as they can only move with Israel’s permission and obtaining identities for them, ever since, only a few of them have obtained a Palestinian identity, while the rest are waiting since 20 years ago.
