Turkey – Libyan national reconciliation between ambitions and obstacles

A political dialogue forum was held at the Akgul Hotel in Istanbul that reviewed the main obstacles to a solution in Libya, the speakers touched on basic files to achieve reconciliation, including the security, economic, media, and political files, and the political is the most important for the continuation of the consensus process on the national unity government in the country. The speaker, Khaled Al-Sharif, stated researchers and specialists from Libya and some Arab countries attended the forum and exchanged views on the foundations of the solution in Libya and the problems facing this solution. The forum was held at a time when the Libyan file is witnessing relative stability in the military and security situation, especially after news of the opening of roads between the eastern and western regions in the country.
