Turkey – Bazaar of antiquities in Istanbul, a touristic destination for many years
The Bazaar of antiquities, held every Sunday in the Osmanbey district, near the famous Taksim Square, Istanbul, is a blend of the past and the present and has been a destination for a lot of foreign and Turkish tourists for decades. However due to the lockdown measures imposed in Turkey due to the Corona pandemic, the number of foreign visitors decreased and now it is held on Tuesday, where the visitor is moved to past eras according to the age of the pieces, some of them date back ten or twenty years, some others exceed half or two centuries and more. The prices of antiques range from one to more than 10 thousand US dollars.
