Palestine: Yasser Arafat Museum of national memory

The Palestinian president, Mahmoud Abbas, launched the Yasser Arafat Museum for Contemporary National Memory in Ramallah, few meters away from Arafat’s grave, in a ceremony that included a number of Arab and international political figures and close friends of the late Arafat. The purpose of this museum is to commemorate the Palestinian leader and to stand as a living memory for future generations
