Palestine – From Russia to Gaza, a journey of a Palestinian man to house street cats
The 45 years old Palestinian, Saeed Al-Arr, observed the great attention the Western countries pay for stray animals through providing places and shelters for them, whereas in Gaza the animals are treated in a wrong way and absence of care, therefore, he undertook upon himself to house over 30 street cats and take care of them in his house in Al- Zahra city, following a course of dogs training in Russia. Al-Arr added that he deals with the different cases of fractures, injuries that he faces due to experiences he gained over the years amid the absence of animal care institutions and associations in Gaza. He is looking forward to establishing a big nature reserve that involves all kinds of animals, besides establishing a veterinarian center and laboratory to provide the necessary care for them.
