Turkey and Israel signed a normalization agreement and return of embassies between the two countries after a period of tense relations of 5 years and the agreement included the convention of a number of the terms and items which raised debate in the political Palestinian Street. Turkey also gave up full lift of siege on the Gaza Strip and accepted entry of the aid to Gaza under Israeli security control, which sparked controversy and raised shock in the Gaza Strip.
Economic Analysts see the agreement as an opportunity to improve the deteriorating economic conditions and the opening of new labor markets which would reduce the unemployment rate in the sector, where Turkey will work to build a power plant and a hospital, and a desalination plant for water inside the Gaza Strip under the supervision of international bodies
Rounds of negotiations took place over yearsbetween Turkey and Israel that led to the signing of the normalization of relations between the two countries, and despite the commitment from both parties to refrain from any action against each other in front of international organizations such as NATO and the United Nations, but that some politicians believe that Turkey will not stop at this point, but it will continue until lifting full siege on the Gaza Strip.
